Media Release and Waiver of Liability

By signing this waiver and participating as a volunteer or "collectivist", the above individual releases The Harvest Collective LLC ("THC"), a limited liability company, and its directors, officers, employees, worker-owners, and agents.

1. I agree to conform to any rules for volunteers or "collectivists" and I agree that my status as a volunteer or "collectivist" can be ended at any time for any reason.

2. I agree that as a volunteer I will not be paid for my participation, and that I am not covered by or eligible for any insurance, health care, worker’s compensation, or other benefits.

3. I understand that volunteering or participating may include risks of injury, illness, death, and property damage or loss. I understand that these risks may be caused by my own actions or the actions of others.

4. I assume all risk of injury or harm from associated activities and release The Harvest Collective LLC from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from these activities I waive any claim for compensation or liability against The Harvest Collective LLC.

5. I authorize The Harvest Collective LLC to provide first aid and to arrange medical assistance, transportation, and emergency medical services for me if I get hurt while volunteering. I understand that The Harvest Collective LLC is not obligated to provide this care and that I am solely responsible for any costs related to my medical treatment and transport.

6. I grant to The Harvest Collective LLC use of my name, image, voice and/or likeness from any photographic images, video, or audio recordings made during volunteer activities.

I agree that this agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Virginia and that this agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia. In the event that any clause or provision of this agreement is held invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions of this agreement which shall continue to be enforceable.
